Transactional Associate

Boston law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP is seeking a transactional associate. The firm provides top-quality legal services to nonprofit, for-profit and public clients in the areas of health and human services, civil litigation, labor and employment, real estate development and finance, education, and tax-exempt/public charities law.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience in transactional work, in particular working with public entities and nonprofit-exempt organizations. The successful candidate will have top academic credentials, excellent writing skills and the ability to think strategically, along with the desire to manage complex transactions, while being mindful of the regulatory structures to which our public and nonprofit clients are subject.

The associate will have the opportunity to engage in a full range of transactions to enable clients to fulfill their public and non-profit missions. Representative projects include joint ventures, intellectual property licensing agreements, private equity offerings, asset and stock purchases and sales, new markets and historic tax credit financings and contracting among educational service providers, schools, school districts, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
