Andrew Maglione joined Krokidas & Bluestein in 2019. He concentrates his practice in the areas of health care, non-profit, administrative and corporate law with a focus on regulatory and operational matters affecting health care and human service providers across the care continuum, including hospitals, mental health and substance use disorder providers, home health and hospice agencies, long-term care providers, assisted living residences, community-based human service organizations, group practices and individual clinicians. Andy advises clients on transactions, contracts (including clinical trial agreements), regulatory matters and corporate compliance, with an emphasis on fraud and abuse, HIPAA and health information privacy and security, facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid certification, and billing and payment matters.
Andy is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Providence College and a 2016 summa cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he served as Chief Comment Editor of the Journal of Health & Biomedical Law. In addition, he received the following honors: Best Brief and Best Oral Advocate, Legal Practice Skills; Jurisprudence Award; Academic Leadership Scholarship, and Trustee Grant. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and Boston Bar Association.
