Gabriel Balzano-Brookes joined Krokidas & Bluestein in 2015. Gabe concentrates his practice in the area of commercial real estate law, with a focus on affordable housing, community development, and charter school development.
Gabe represents for-profit, nonprofit, and public entities in the acquisition, disposition, financing, zoning, permitting, and leasing of real property. He often represents banks, community development lenders, and other financial institutions in complex multi-party real estate and commercial financing transactions. He has significant experience with affordable housing transactions involving both public and private financing sources, including bond financing and federal and state low-income housing and historic tax credits.
He is a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Section and the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law.
Gabe is a 2014 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor of the Northeastern University Law Journal, and a 2011 cum laude graduate of Stonehill College.
Gabe has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in Real Estate by Thomson Reuters since 2018 and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America TM in Real Estate Law since 2022.
