Anthony Leccese, a member of the firm’s transactional group, concentrates his practice in real estate and general business matters, representing for-profit, non-profit and public entities.

Tony has over thirty years of experience, and represents clients on all sides of real estate transactions. His practice involves diverse real estate and business transactional matters with an emphasis in commercial and residential real estate development and management. He serves clients on purchase and sales, leasing, zoning, permitting and land use matters, commercial finance, buying and selling closely held businesses, restaurant development, licensing and general corporate matters. In addition, he brings his past experience of representing developers, lenders, contractors, and tenants in connection with acquisitions, financing and construction of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and industrial complexes.

Tony is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. He has served on the Belmont Economic Development Advisory Committee from 2011 to 2014; the Board of Directors for the Greater Table Foundation, Inc. from 1999 to 2008; and the Belmont Zoning Board of Appeals from 1995 to 2008. He has been named a New England Super Lawyer in real estate each year since 2014, and has been listed in 2021 “Best Lawyers” in America for Real Estate Law by U.S. News & World Report.

Tony is a 1978 magna cum laude graduate of Boston College and a 1982 graduate of Cornell Law School.
