Health Care Litigation Attorney

Boston law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, a premier boutique firm, is seeking a health care litigation attorney to join its thriving health and human services and litigation practices. The firm provides legal services to nonprofit, for-profit and public clients operating in the areas of health and human services, real estate development and finance, affordable housing, civil litigation, employment, and education.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience in litigation, with health care experience preferred. The successful candidate will have top academic credentials, excellent writing skills, a superior work ethic, the ability to think strategically and the desire to undertake complex work. Massachusetts bar membership or the ability to waive in is required.

The attorney will have the opportunity to engage with clients spanning the health care continuum, including hospitals, community health centers, nursing homes, assisted living, support housing and human service providers, as well as individual providers. Areas of responsibility will include issues of governance, employment and compliance matters, survey and certification matters, licensing, credentialing and privileging disputes, peer review, HIPAA and privacy concerns, disciplinary matters and labor and employment issues.
