Eric Jordan joined Krokidas & Bluestein in 2024 as a member of the firm’s Education Practice. At Krokidas & Bluestein, he assists charter schools and other educational institutions with their legal needs in the full range of their operations, including governance, special education, student discipline, employment, and civil rights matters.
Before joining Krokidas & Bluestein, Eric worked in Harvard University’s Office for Dispute Resolution, where he conducted investigations throughout the Harvard community regarding alleged discrimination on the bases of various protected classes such as sex and race, as well as for matters of retaliation, physical violence, and workplace misconduct. Eric also facilitated informal resolutions and conducted trainings for Harvard’s students, staff, and faculty on university policies and federal legislation such as Title IX.
A commitment to civil rights, and particularly educational equity, is a common thread throughout Eric’s professional career and serves as the foundation for his advice to clients. Before attending law school, Eric was a middle school teacher in California through the Teach For America program. In addition, he developed curricula, conducted district-wide trainings, and provided resources and mentorship to educators in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. After completing law school, Eric joined a large, multi-national law firm as an associate, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, white-collar investigations, and capital markets transactions for domestic and Latin American corporations. Eric also avidly participated in pro-bono work there, representing clients in asylum, refuge, guardianship, and clemency matters. Outside of work, Eric has continued his commitment to education through tutoring, judging debate tournaments, and participating in speaking engagements for students in Massachusetts.
Eric is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York. He is a 2009, magna cum laude Princeton graduate and received his law degree in 2014 from Harvard Law School.
