Vincent Pisegna, former co-managing partner of the firm, has a diverse civil litigation and mediation practice. He has over forty years’ experience in litigating and mediating a wide range of business and real estate disputes including cases involving commercial property development and management, land use, bankruptcy, employment, intellectual property, probate, health care, and partnership and corporate disputes.

Vince holds a certificate in mediation and recently moderated and spoke at a mediation program sponsored by the New England Legal Foundation and Suffolk Law School entitled “How to Effectively Use Mediation to Resolve Legal and Other Disputes”.

Vince was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court to be the Vice-Chair, and then Chair, of the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers (BBO) from 2015 through 2018. The BBO licenses, regulates and disciplines the over 60,000 lawyers in Massachusetts.

Vince has been named a Top 100 Lawyer in New England by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers and Boston Magazine. The Top 100 List is a peer recognition list featuring selected Super Lawyers in New England with the most total points earned for peer recognition and professional achievement.

Vince has published numerous articles and been extensively quoted in trade publications including Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He is the co-author of The Litigators’ Blog, a blog for litigators or anyone seriously interested in the latest developments in the field of litigation.

Vince has also been named by BTI Consulting Group as a “Client Service All-Star,” an elite national group chosen by corporate counsel nationwide in an independent study which identifies attorneys who are recognized as delivering the absolute best client service.

Among his many other public service activities, Vince served as a town meeting member in his home town of Lexington, Massachusetts; he founded The Kids Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization supporting pediatric patients at Boston Medical Center; and he was a director of the Lake Morey (Vermont) Protective Association. He is also a member of a number of boards including the Board of Directors of Greater Boston Legal Services and the Lake Morey Foundation. In 2014, Vince was awarded the Boston Bar Association President’s Award for providing pro bono assistance to victims and small business owners affected by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

Vince is a 1976 summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, graduate of St. Lawrence University, and a 1979 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. He was a law clerk to the Honorable Howard G. Munson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
