Earlier this year, a federal court ruling had the effect of vacating the recent 2024 Title IX regulations nationwide. Shortly thereafter, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights confirmed in guidance documents that the 2024 Title IX regulations are no longer in effect and that the 2020 Title IX regulations are controlling once again. As a result, schools receiving any federal financial assistance must now adopt, or revert to, a Title IX policy and grievance procedure that is compliant with the 2020 regulations.
Join Krokidas & Bluestein LLP attorneys Bettina Toner and Eric Jordan of Krokidas & Blustein LLP’s Education Law Practice for an informative webinar and Q&A session to learn how Massachusetts charter public schools can take steps to ensure they remain in compliance with Title IX. Interested parties can register and submit their Title IX questions for the webinar here.
