Attorney Pisegna (left) and Attorney Nagler (right)
(BOSTON, MA) April 1, 2016 – Krokidas & Bluestein’s Vince Pisegna and Sam Nagler used their complementary litigation and real estate skills, respectively, to achieve K & B’s client’s objective of selling a $20.0M vacation home despite the refusal of the client’s co-owner/siblings to sell. The client and the client’s two siblings owned a vacation home inherited from their father. When the client’s siblings refused the client’s request that they either buy out the client’s interest or agree to sell the entire property, the client sought the help of Krokidas & Bluestein. Attorney Pisegna filed a partition action in Court to compel the forced sale of the home, after which Attorney Nagler negotiated an agreement with counsel to the reluctant co-owners which took into account the need to sell the home quickly and to prevent any party from spoiling a potential sale.
